No, the KMAT Karnataka exam does not have any negative markings. The KMAT exam is conducted in the remote online proctored mode to offer equal opportunity to all the candidates coming from different backgrounds. There are 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) which are to be solved within 120 minutes or two hours. Each question has four options and the students will be awarded one mark for each correct answer. To bring total transparency, merit will be based on raw scores and not on percentile based scores.

The School of Science Studies at CMR University in Bengaluru, Karnataka accepts KMAT as an exam for MCA admissions. The university also accepts Karnataka PGCET for MCA admissions.
The KMAT has various cutoff for others courses which is available on college website. If you want to see cutoff check official website for sure.

Yes, KLE Technological University accepts KMAT score for admission under the Management Quota for MCA programme. For regular admission, aspirants need to pass Karnataka PGCET. Besides, aspirants must also complete their graduation to apply for MCA at KLE Technological University.

KMAT is conducted in internet-based test mode to offer equal opportunity to all the candidates.
- The test will be of 120 minutes (2 hours) duration
- The test will consist of only 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- There will be 4 answer options for each question.
- The questions will not carry negative marking for any wrong answer.
- Marking scheme will award 1 mark for every correct answer

The KMAT exam does not have a sectional cutoff. To determine the overall eligibility criteria for the final rounds is based on the overall score obtained by the candidate. But, the students should aim to score well in the each section of the exam as a good sectional score will boost the overall score of the candidate.

The KMAT exam will be conducted in the internet-based remote home proctored mode. Therefore, there is no need to visit any exam centre to take the exam. The authorities will email the examination link to the candidates who have registered for the exam and paid the application fee. Candidates must however not use any electronic gadgets other than the system they are using to take the exam. Candidates must also keep a printout of the KMAT admit card. Candidates must also not use any unfair means during the exam to avoid cancellation of the exam.

The following documents will be required during the KMAT Kerala counselling. Both photocopy and original documents will be required. Qualifiers must carry two copies of the original documents.

- Cast certificate (if applicable)
