The top courses offered at the institute are Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science which are started in the year 1982 and 1992 . Along with them there are various programs that are present in graduate and post graduate level, the most popular ones among them are Bachelor of Computer Science, Bachelor of Management studies, Master of Commerce (Advanced Accountancy) and Master of Commerce (Business Management).

Shri Krishna University (SKU) is ranked 451-500 in the Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2023. This ranking is based on factors like teaching, research, citations, international outlook, and industry income.

Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (SKCET) accepts the TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) entrance exam scores for admission to BTech. The admissions are based on entrance scores and merit followed by state counseling. The college also considers the 10+2 examination merit scores for admission to undergraduate courses.
