CUSAT Kochi is better than KTU. Being older, it is more recognized. 

 

It is more reputed internationally. CUSAT brand name can help you a lot while applying for higher studies overseas. 

Cochin University of Science and Technology courses are well-structured. The syllabus followed is tougher compared to KTU. So, a degree from CUSAT is more valued. 

KTU is a technological university. It offers courses in this domain only. While CUSAT offers courses from various disciplines such as Arts, Law, etc.

The KTU - APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University's mess food is of good quality and taste. Non-vegetarian food is served twice a week and the mess charge for a month is around INR 1700. Wi-Fi, a continuous supply of energy and water, and access to meals are all provided by the hostel. Shared rooms are available.
