Yes, there are scholarship offered for the MA course at Directorate of Distance Education Kurukshetra University. The scholarships are mostly offered under the Government schemes. Students must qualify the eligibility criteria and submit all the necessary documents required for the scholarship. Few of the scholarships are as follows:
- Shikshit Beti
- Blind students of Haryana
- Benefits of Fee for SC Candidates of Haryana (as decided by the Academic Branch)

The minimum eligibility criteria to pursue MSc at DDE Kurukshetra University is to posses Bachelor's degree programme from a recognised institute/university. Candidate should hold the original degree during admission process. It is required for verification purposes. Only candidates fulfilling the eligibility requirement shall be considered for admission.

Directorate of Distance Education offers three major specialisations under the MSc course. Mathematics, Geography, and, Computer Science are specialisaitons offered. The MSc course is offered in a the distance-learning mode lasting for two years. Admission to the MSc course is subject to a valid score in the last qualifying exam. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 45% to 50% from a recognised university/institute.

The last date to apply for the Directorate of Distance Education MSc course admission for January session 2025 without late fees is April 30, 2025, with a late fee of INR 500 candidates can apply by May 30, 2025, and with a late fee of INR 1000 candidates can apply by June 30, 2025.
