Kurukshetra University has a central library called Jawaharlal Nehru Central Library of Kurukshetra University with a capacity of 1,750 readers. The central library has three blocks, namely,  Ranganathan Bhawan, Ram Prasad Bismil Golden Jubilee Reading Hall, and the Savitri Bai Phule block. The total library staff of Kurukshetra University is 42. A few more updates related to the timing of all three blocks are below:

Central Library Timing: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm (Monday to Saturday)

Ranganathan Block Timing: 9.00 am to 10.00 pm (except National Holiday, Haryana Day, and Holi)

Golden Jubilee Reading Hall Timing: 9:00 am to 12:00 midnight (except National Holiday, Haryana Day, and Holi).

Kurukshetra University offers a total of 25 hostels for boys and girls. For boys, there are 12 hostels, while for girls, there are 13. KUK hostel fees consist of university share and hostel share. University share includes Accommodation/ Room Rent, water, and electrical and medical fees, while for hostel charges, students are required to pay for utensils and furniture fund, mess development fund and sanitation, among other charges. Candidates with disabilities are exempted from the University and hostel shares, however, they are required to deposit a Mess Advance charge of INR. 3000 and a Hostel Security of INR 1000 as a caution deposit. The admission procedure of B.Com programme at the Directorate of Distance Education (DDE), Kurukshetra University requires candidates to follow university guidelines. Students should complete their application through the official university portal which operates online. To enroll in B.Com studies at DDE you need to qualify the set requirements mostly including passing Class 12 from an approved board with the university-defined minimum grades. University admission begins with registering through the website followed by completing the application form including relevant document submission and payment of the mandatory fee. Candidates need to review the yearly changes in B.Com programme fees before applying because the fee structure changes annually. Students gain admission to Kurukshetra University's distance education programs through merit-based standards and the institution does not organize entrance exams.
