The basic things which needs attention during the admission, would be General knowledge and English. Although, St. Joseph might also test your maths, but mostly, it's the former two which will be given the most importance.

Yes, there is an entrance test conducted by college authorities for admission to B.A in English, Journalism and Psychology from St. Joseph's College, Bangalore.
Admission Process:
Eligible candidates need to appear for the Entrance Test conducted by the college. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interview based on marks obtained in Entrance Test.

Invariably every University keeps eligibility for MA as min percentage of marks in BA. It's about 50%. But you are in luck, Sikkim University has placed this at 40% making you eligible. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information.

Counseling for BA is not like an interview for job. It's basically to know from you and advise you as to which college you are going to get. So do not worry.

Teaching in the Higher Education domain I mean in colleges that offer graduation as well as post graduation shall be the employers.

Panjab University is the oldest one among the two and has a legacy of scholars. But recently, in the last decade in fact, the standards of study has gone down with the less number of faculty members. It is true that places also teach but I shall suggest IP University for this.

They ask for 65 in the main subject.
But do check the eligibility criteria once.

Once you have cleared CET, the institute conducting it would put up a merit list. You will have to approach the administration of the college to know this and also for knowing the next step.

You most probably will but keep your options open for other colleges as they will serve you as a backup plan. Du colleges with low cutoff lists areyour best option.
