IUST BA in English curriculum is spread over a period of four years. During the course duration, students are taught various Major, Minor, Value-added courses, AECs and SECs. Subjects included in all other courses, except the Major courses, are electives. Some major subjects included in the BA in English curriculum at IUST Awantipora are listed below:

Candidates must be Class 12 or equivalent pass to be eligible for admission in Christ University Bangalore BA course in Communication and Media, English. The qualifying exam should have been passed from a recognised board. Students must hold the pass certificates as well. The Class 12 mark sheet or pass certificate (original or copies) have to be submitted to the university for verification purposes.

International students studying at Global Institute must submit IELTS score. The minimum IELTS score is 5.5. Other equivalent test score accepted is TOEFL. The minimum test score required in TOEFL is 530 in Paper-Based test and 197 on Computerized test.
