International students applying from non-English-speaking countries like India need to prove their language proficiency as a basic eligibility requirement at the University of Gottingen. The undergraduate and graduate English language requirements for international students are given below:

SNU accepts IELTS / TOEFL scores as English language proficiency tests. Minimum scores required in these tests are given as follows:

- IELTS of 6.0 or higher or TOEFL iBT with 80 or higher

As part of the UHCL application process, the students are required to submit an English language proficiency proof. The minimum scores required are based on the course.
