The syllabus remains the same-GMAT consists of Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning Section, Quantitative Section and Verbal Section. Refer to MBA.com for latest books and study materials and practice as much as you can. It is recommended you follow latest study materials.
It depends on individual's ability and previous knowledge to prepare for any entrance test. The best way is to take a mock test and find your strengths and gaps. Then you may start working on a plan and coaching. There are many options available these days like online tutoring, offline classes or a mix of both. You may take 3 to 6 months and do take a lot of mock tests before your final exam.

Admission to the course is done through two methods, direct and entrance test. Direct admission is offered for candidates who have completed B.A Honors degree in English from the University of Delhi. Such candidates must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination. Reserved category candidates like OBC/SC/ST/PwD need to have 55% marks only.
Entrance test will be conducted for those candidates having completed B.A Honours in (English) from Delhi University with a minimum of 45% marks. Reserved category candidates with less mark can also seek admission on the basis of entrance exam. OBC candidates need to have at least 40.5% marks in the qualifying examination where as physically disabled ones needs to hold 40% marks only. In case of SC/ST candidates, mere pass in B.A Honours degree (in English) is enough to apply for the entrance test.
Qualified candidates from other recognized Universities other than Delhi University can also apply. In such situations general category candidates is required to have at least 50% marks in qualifying degree. Those belonging to OBC category should have a minimum of 45% marks. Here also SC/ST category candidates, require mere pass in the qualifying examination to appear for the entrance test.
