In the context of location, if students are fond of hustle and bustle and want to explore eating options, then one can choose the University of Montreal. On the other hand, if students are going to Quebec, Canada with a purpose of exploring French lifestyle in Canada and knowing about their culture, then Laval University is a better choice.

The Laval University does not release data about acceptance rate, however, as per some unofficial sources University of Laval acceptance rate is 50%, which means out of every 100 applications only 50 are selected, which makes it fairly competitive to get selected into the university.

The university gives preference to students having higher grades or have exceptional academic or research experience. Hence, having higher grades increases your chance of getting selected at Laval University.

Yes, it is relatively easy for students to find part-time jobs while studying at Laval University. All students at all levels of study can usually work on campus without having to obtain a work permit.
