Yes, an Indian student with average scores in Higher Secondary Education and good grades at the graduate level can get admission at QMU. 

The eligibility criteria for Indian students at QMU are as follows:

  • Minimum score of 60% at Higher Secondary Education Level
  • IELTS scores of 6.0 and 6.5 for UG and Master courses
  • QMU does not enroll international students only on the basis of test scores; the university review your Statement of Purpose, skills and potential

Queen Margaret University has around 25% international students coming from over 80 countries around the world.

The university can be moderately selective during the admission process. If you hold good marks in your Higher Secondary Education or undergraduate level, and are able to demonstrate your caliber, you have higher chances of getting admitted to the Queen Margaret University.

Yes, students are allowed to search for career vacancies on the QMU vacancy page when they are pursuing their studies at the university.

For those students that are coming from outside the country and having a study visa, the total working hours are 20 per week. They will get an hourly wage of GBP 11.8 (INR 1.5k) on average. 

The QMU campus is situated about 8 km away from the city centre of Edinburgh, which is the financial and business center of the area.
