Indian students need to make a GBP 4,000 (INR 5.1 Lakhs) deposit to confirm enrolment at the Heriot-Watt Uni UK. This deposit allows students to get their CAS letter from the university. The CAS can then be used to get the UK student visa to study in the country.

1 GBP = INR 127.33

Yes, the University of Hertfordshire accepts students through the pathway or the foundation courses for students who do not meet the direct admission requirements  (at least 60 to 70%).

It is done through Hertfordshire International College (HIC).

Given below are pointers you need to look for -

  • HIC Courses help students with what they should know when in the program.
  • Indian students who have completed their 12th with a minimum of 50% or higher, with an IELTS band score of 4.5.

Yes, but it depends on your graduation date.

  • You get 2 years if you apply before January 1, 2027.
  • Applications from January 1, 2027, will only get 18 months.
  • This applies to Bachelor's and Master's graduates.
  • PhD graduates still get 3 years regardless of the date.
  • Most 2026 intake students will graduate in 2027 or 2029.
  • This means most 2026 students will only get 18 months.
  • Plan your job search early to make the most of this time.
  • The visa cannot be extended once granted.

Yes, your degree is a great gateway to the UK. Since the MSc from the University of Liverpool, Bangalore is identical to the UK version, employers there recognise it immediately. Many alumni find work in London or Liverpool. The university also has a massive network of 300,000 former students who can help you. It is a perfect choice if you dream of an international career.

Studying the BSc at the University of Liverpool, Bangalore saves you a lot of money. In the UK, the same degree can cost over INR 25 Lakhs a year just for tuition. You also save on expensive UK rent and flight tickets. By staying in Bangalore, you get the exact same certificate and quality of education for much less. It makes a top-tier international degree possible for many more families. It is a very smart way to get a global education.

Last date to apply for the January intake in UK generally falls between mid-October and mid-November of the previous year. However this is not a rigid deadline to apply for the Jan intake in Uk as some universities also accept applications till late December.
