Dear Student, For legal aptitude you've three things. You're provided with principle/s and then there are facts. Then you've the options from which you need to choose. The first thing to keep in mind is that the principle is the ultimate. Don't ever try to apply the general knowledge you have about the law while solving your questions. If the principle says theft is not an offence then for the 0.30 seconds you take to solve the question you must abide by that. Sometimes you've more than one principles and those times you've to abide by all of them. Now come to the options. Since you already know the answer check out only those answers

Dear Student, "Why do you want to be a lawyer? " and "why do you think you're suited to a career in law? " but it's basically the same question. Once you've worked out "why law", you will find you can apply yourself to the process of achieving your goal in a more focused, determined and disciplined manner. Few things you consider before becoming a lawyer :
1 Career prospects. 2 There's so much reading.
3 Work hard, work smart, be organised.

Dear student, Most lawyers are likely employees, either of law firms or of corporations (in-house Lawyers). These will be paid a salary, like any other employee. Beyond that, partners in a law firm are generally divided into two categories, salaried partners and equity partners. The former usually have more certainty over their income (they receive a fixed share of the firms income or profits as a salary), but have a greater say in/ responsibility for the running of the firm than employees. The latter are effectively the owners of the firm, having a share of the equity. They generally have the most control over how the firm is run, and

Dear Student, A lawyer can serve in several roles. Here are some examples, but in practice most lawyers do more than one of these, sometimes even simultaneously:
1. A Lawyer is an Advocate
Here, by advocate, I mean somebody who tries to advance their clients interests in some way, typically involving (at least to some extent) persuasion. The classic example is in court, especially in something like closing arguments: a lawyer advocates for their client by persuading the judge or jury that their client deserves to win their case.
2. A Lawyer is a Counselor
This is more behind closed doors. The role of a counselor isn't to persuade, its to
