CLAT 2025 dates for admission to NLU Odisha are out.  Only students who fill out the application form as well as, pay the fee are issued admit cards to appear for CLAT exam 2025. Students can log in using their registered mobile number and password to update their preferences in CLAT 2025 application form. 

Conducted in pen-and-paper mode, candidates have to attempt questions from English, Current Affairs and GK, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Mathematics for UG course, and from Constitutional Law, and other law subjects like Jurisprudence, Torts, IPC, CrPC, CPC, Family Law, and IPR. 

Candidates who are willing to get into NLU Odisha for five-year LLB course must specific the desired course in the application form.

Following are the factors that will help to determine the CLAT cutoff for GNLU, Gandhinagar:.
Seat intake: The number of seats available that the university provides for the LLM programme, which plays an important determining role in the cut-off.
Number of Applicants: The total number of applicants applying for admission directly affects the level of competitiveness.
Difficulty Level of the CLAT Exam: If the exam is more difficult, that results in a low cutoff rank. Similarly, if the CLAT exam is easy, then it may lead to higher ranks.
Previous Years Cutoff: This helps in estimating performances based on historical cutoff data.
Category of applicants: Cutoff for the different categories like General, OBC, SC, ST, etc. vary because of reservation policies.

To apply for CLAT entrance exam, check the detailed application steps below:

1. Registration - The candidate could register by entering their name, mobile number, and email id. Also, select and confirm a password for the newly created applicant account. 
2. Login - Log in to access the application form.  
3. Select the programme of study - After logging in, the first thing was to select the programme of study 5-year LLB or one-year LLB
4. Fill the form - There were different fields like personal information, communication details, qualifying examination status, exam centre preferences (THREE centres can be selected in the order of preference), and reservation. All fields needed to be filled. Check what all documents were needed to be uploaded in the prescribed specification (refer to the table below).

5. Submit the form - Once the details are duly filled, agree to the declaration, give consent and submit the form.    

6. CLAT NLU Preference List 2026:

Candidates must note that it was mandatory to give their preferences to NLUs while submitting their CLAT Application Form. Aspirants must select their preferences carefully, as the consortium will only consider those NLUs that have been mentioned in the preference list.
