No, the Faculty of Law, Calcutta University does not accept CLAT scores for admission to its undergraduate programme (B.A. LL.B.). CLAT is primarily designed for admission to National Law Universities in India. The Faculty of Law, Calcutta University conducts its own entrance exam for admission to the B.A. LL.B. program. The Faculty of Law website itself does not mention CLAT scores as a requirement for admission.

NLU Patna admission to B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) is based on CLAT scores followed by the CLAT Counselling. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has released the CLAT Last Allotment list 2024. As per the CNLU Patna CLAT cutoff 2024, the round 5 closing rank for BA LLB (Hons) was 1358 for the students belonging to the General AI category. The cutoff ranks for the same course was 1541 in 2023 and 1407 in 2022. A graphical representation of BA LLB (Hons) cutoff trends for the last three years is given below:

Bar council of India does not permit LLM course from the distance mode. So avoid this because you can not practice and utilize for employment purpose.

Yes, you can take admission in GITAM School of Law Vishakapatnam, BBA LLB without CLAT .
You have other options too. You can give these exams and get admission on the basis of your score .

  • Accepting Exams: CLAT, LSAT India, GITAM GAT

To apply for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes  Law you would need to apply for the GITAM Admission Test (GAT) . If you have appeared for CLAT, LSAT and  scored well, then you can use the same score to get admission at GITAM.

With an EWS rank of 1066 and an All India Rank  of 11955 in CLAT 2024 you have a moderate but potentially competitive chance of being admitted to the BBA LLB programme at IIM Rohtak. The BBA LLB programme at IIM Rohtak has a very competitive admissions process that usually gives preference to applicants with higher ranks. However because there are reserved seats the EWS category might have some clout.

Yes, Jindal School of Government and Public Policy accept LSAT India entrance exam score. The college accepts LSAT India exam score for the course BA and BSc. Students can check the detailed BA and BSc eligibility below:
