No, the CLAT registrations have been closed for the IMS Law College BA LLB admissions in 2026. The CLAT registrations were closed in November 2025 for IMS Law College 2026 admissions.

Thus, candidates who want to apply for BA LLB admissions at IMS Law College are required to wait for the CLAT 2027 to begin.

Yes, CLAT is a mandatroy entrance exam for BA LB admissions at IMS Law College. The LSAT scores used to be accepted for BA LLB admissions, . However, the LSAT has been discontinued since the year 2025.

Thus candidates only have the option of appearing for the CLAT entrance exam to qualify for IMS Law College BA LLB admissions.

No, the CLAT 2026 registrations have been closed for VITSOL, Chennai BA LLB (Hons) admissions. The regiteration window for CLAT 2026 was scheduled between August 1st 2025 and November 7th 2025. 

The CLAT 2026 was scheduled on December 7th 2025. Candidates who missed the CLAT 2026 exam can still appear for the VITLEE 2026 to qualify for BA LLB (Hons) admissions.

  1. CLAT is conducted by the Consortium of NLUs while NLSAT is conducted by NLSIU Bangalore
  2. CLAT is mainly for admissions to 5 Year LLB and LLM from top NLUs and other private universities, whereas NLSAT is for 3-Year LLB Hons. admission in NLSIU, Bangalore.
  3. You can aim for CLAT if you have passed or are still in class 12, whereas only graduates are eligible to appear for the NLSAT exam.
  4. The duration of the CLAT exam is 2 hours, and that of NLSAT is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
  5. There are a total of 120 questions in the CLAT exam and 75 questions in the NLSAT exam, which also includes essay questions.

The reporting time for the KIITEE Law or K-LAT exam will be given on the admit card. Check the K-LAT Admit Card as it is released. however, the candidates will be required to reach the examination hall as per the time mentioned on the admit card. The hall ticket has issued to the registered candidates online.
