Please confirm for which university you want to appear for LAWCET. There are exams like TSLAWCET (Telangana Common Law Entrance Test) and APLAWCET (Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test) and both are for 5 years. Please confirm the university name for better clarification.

As per the college rankings published by India Today in 2017, Symbiosis Law School, Pune is ranked 7th in the list. Though both the colleges are good but Symbiosis Law School, Pune is a better option.

I don't think one single book is going to help you in this regard. However, you may purchase study material from many coaching in this regard as that material is focused on the syllabus asked in the examination. Also, for general purpose, you may opt for Universal Publications Guide for LLM as it has the similar portion of course as required for DU LLB for legal aptitude section.

Most of the law graduates prefer to work as a lawyer. And for this, they need license issued by local/ state/ central Bar
Council. Some of the law graduates work as a trainee while they are in final year of their studies. After gaining experience as apprentice, they can take part in the examinations organized by the law society.
