GD: Generally the trend is to have discussions on current topics, which may be legal, finance related, or social issues. In other words, you may prepare by reading newspapers and competitive magazine to study the trend of topics in news. Again, GD/Essay/GK, there is no defined area of preparation, but general awareness helps.
My experience: This is in May 2009 when I had my GD. We were a group of 7 and an old man as our moderator. The topic of discussion was "Sub-Prime Crisis in USA and how has it affected India" (If you remember this was a hot topic in 2008 onwards for a long time). If you have interest in law then you can surely pursue LLB after B.Sc.

Yes, a lot of people have done that. You need to do a three year LLB course (instead of the 5-year course of BA+LLB. The minimum requirement of law is to have done graduation before you can do LLB. Most people prefer BA+LLB. So, as to get the law degree in minimum time (5 years).
People have done law after engineering, MBBS, B.Com and almost all Bachelors. Delhi University (Faculty of Law), Government Law college Mumbai and a lot of colleges offer 3 year law courses. For more information, google 3 year Law India.

CU has highest number of placement companies in North India this year i.e; 400+ companies.
So the overall placements record of B.A LL.B will be good because our first batch of this course are currently studying their 4th year.

You can get them online from Amazon and other E-commerce websites for the papers, but I would highly recommend you to collect the papers from Aligarh itself. All the entrance exam papers are available in Shamshad market area in Aligarh. Best of luck.

The basic eligibility to pursue LL.M. from Allahabad University is that a candidate must be a graduate from a recognised college/university. Candidates are selected based on marks obtained in Law Admission Test (LAT). Interested candidates can apply online with the required information.
