Admissions are made on the basis of merit secured in entrance test conducted by the university. This is an NAAC 'A' Grade college, and competition is stiff to secure a seat with this college. Interested applicants can apply directly to the institute. Regards.

Placements depend on the college one opts for LL.B. While NLUs have good placements, other colleges do not. The scope of placements extends to various law firms, corporate houses and chambers of various Advocates
Top recruiting firms that recruit from NLSIU are AZB, Khaitan, JSA, Trilegal etc.

For applying to the course, aspiring candidates need to have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline, acquired from a recognised/ accredited institute, with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. Candidates are also required to have completed a 3-year Diploma from a recognised institute
Students who have appeared in their final year examination of a relevant Bachelors degree programme, and are yet to pass its final year examination, are also welcome to apply, subject to a successful completion of their Bachelor's degree programme/graduation within a certain time period.
