Hi,
Yes, you can join law colleges after doing 12th from commerce as LLB 5 year program can be done after the completion of +2 from any stream. There are various law schools, in order to get admission in most of the Law Institute one has to appear for entrance examination. The most common entrance exam for admission in LLB program is the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). This is an all India entrance examination conducted by 14 National Law Schools and Universities for admissions to their under graduate program. If you are interested in this field, then you must pass your class 12th or senior secondary examination with an aggregate of 45% from a recognized board or university. After fulfilling the above eligibility criteria, you can appear for the CLAT exam (common law admission test), conducted for the admission to the top government and private colleges in India. After successful clearing the exam, you may choose the course and specialized law branch of your choice.

Hi Sushmita, generally and widely it is required that you have prior degree in law to obtain a PG. Also for some top universities, one must have working experience. Scope of law is very good. You may check for any Diploma programs in the legal field if it helps. Check here:

Hi Ashok Kumar,
For majority of the LLM programs in Australia applicants must have completed LLB and have at least 1 year working experience. Additionally you must take the IELTS or the TOEFL. You can check on university websites for details.

For getting admissions in LLB, you need to give the entrance exam of law which is CLAT. I'll share with you the important dates for this and colleges where you can apply as well for this course:
These are all the important dates for CLAT exam:
Registration Start date - November
Registration End date - December
Admit Card download date - January
CMAT Exam Date - January
CMAT Result declaration - January
Print out of Score Cards - January

To apply for DU LLB Course You Need A Graduate OR Post-Graduate Degree With 50% Marks, but you have scored only 43% marks in your graduation, so you can't get admission for LLB course in Delhi University.
For general candidates, 50% marks in graduation are compulsory.
And for SC/ST candidates 45% marks in graduation are required.
