In my personal view for UG law, UPES would be a better choice. The faculty at UPES is extremely good in all ways. UPES focuses on overall development of a student. The frequent events at UPES help a student to compete with all other colleges worldwide. The events at the university are student driven and students get to know all the things for the event or competition. I would suggest you to opt for UPES.

No, actually maximum rank for VIPS is 2000 if you are from Delhi and for outside Delhi- 1200 -1300.
Even, I have ranked 1465 and not sure for VIPS.

You have two options right now, either have a drop prepare for CLAT and give CLAT exam next or you can go for private colleges such as BITS, Bangalore, IIL Indore, RILS-Bangalore and many more. You can check their websites and contact them.
Hope this helps .
Good luck!

LLB and B.Tech both are the best course choices in India.
But, when it comes to choosing a course then it's all depend on that individual who wants to study.
Choosing a course is all depend on interest of student on that course.
So, choose by yourself between llb and B.Tech.
B.Com is also not bad, if you have interest on B.Com then you may also choose B.Com.
Thanks!
