If arts subjects are fine for you, and if you wanna take the judicial or civil exams, then BA is preferable. And in case maths, accounts and finance and management is your cup of tea, BBA. is fine.

There are many scholarships offered to the law students if they qualify the exam for the same like the one offered by tata.

You have a pretty decent ranking. Considering other factors like your 12th scores, you must be able to get through. But it's always good to give it a try and have a good back up plan. Good luck, hope this helps!
