IILM focuses on soft-skill development in a pretty straightforward and practical way, without making it feel forced.

For law students especially, the idea is to build confidence, clarity in communication, and the ability to lead a team.

Here's how they usually approach it:

  • Class presentations and group discussions – These help students get comfortable speaking in front of people and putting their thoughts together clearly.
  • Moot courts & debates – These naturally build leadership qualities because you learn to take charge of a case, coordinate with a team, and argue confidently.
  • Workshops on communication and personality deve

Yes, IILM University definitely pushes practical training in its law curriculum, and honestly, that's one of the things students actually feel on ground.

From the first year itself, they try to make sure you're not just stuck in theory. We get regular moot court sessions, drafting workshops, visits to district courts and the High Court, and even interaction with practising advocates. Internships are also a big part of the course – the faculty actually guides you where to apply and how to build your profile.

Hi.

Yes

The legal field is fundamental to any society and business environment.
Here is a breakdown of why demand exists and where opportunities are growing:

Consistent Demand for Traditional Roles
  • Litigation (Court Practice): There will always be a need for lawyers to represent clients in civil, criminal, and family courts. This path requires dedication and builds a strong foundation in legal practice.
  • Judiciary & Government Services: There is a constant demand for legal professionals in the judicial system (judges, magistrates) and various government departments (legal advisors, public prosecutors, civil servi

Hi.

There is no institutes that offer 3 year LLB course fully online, correspondence or distance mode that is recognised by the Bar Council Of India (BCI).

The BCI, which regulates legal education and professional conduct in India, mandates that all law degrees must be pursued in a regular, full-time, in-person classroom format. This requirement is in place to ensure students receive essential practical training, courtroom exposure, moot court exercises, and maintain the mandatory 70% physical attendance required for the course.

Hi.

At St. Mother Teresa Law College, wearing the college uniform is compulsory for all students.
Students are not allowed to enter the college campus without being in uniform. During the winter season, students must wear a black sweater or blazer with the uniform.
While the exact style (e.g., color of shirt and trousers) is determined by the institution, law colleges in India typically require a professional dress code that often resembles the lawyer's uniform of black trousers/skirt and a white shirt  (with a black coat/blazer for formal occasions or specific days).
For the specific details of the un

Hi.

The BCI mandates that all recognised law degrees (3-year LL.B. or 5-year integrated B.A. LL.B., BBA LL.B., etc.) must be pursued in a regular, full-time, in-person classroom mode. This is because practical training, moot courts, debates, and mandatory physical attendance (70%) are considered essential components of professional legal education that cannot be adequately replicated online.
Any online law degree is considered "null and void ab initio" (invalid from the start) for the following professional or academic purposes:
  • Enrolling with a State Bar Council
  • Practicing as an advocate in any court in India
  • Appearing for
