A good CLAT 2026 score is certainly an achievement, but for admission to BA LL.B at Chandigarh University, it is not a requirement. Chandigarh University conducts its own entrance exam called CUCET, and this test is mandatory for all law aspirants. However, having a strong CLAT score can still benefit you indirectly. It reflects solid aptitude in legal reasoning, comprehension, and logical skills, which naturally helps you perform better in CUCET and during interviews or counseling sessions.

Students who prepare well for CLAT usually find CUCET comparatively easier, increasing their chances of securing a higher scholarship bracket

No, attempting CLAT 2026 is not compulsory for admission to BA LLB or B.Com LLB programs at Chandigarh University. This university follows its own admission process, and the university clearly states that students must appear for CUCET (Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test), which is the only required entrance exam for all integrated law programs. Your CUCET score is used both for admission and for determining admission eligibility.

While CLAT is a prestigious national exam, Chandigarh University does not consider CLAT scores for its law admissions. So even if you have not registered for CLAT, you can still easily apply, write CUC
