No, Amrita Law Admission Test is not compulsory for BA LLB admission in Amrita International School of Law. If you have a valid score in CLAT exam or AILET exam, then you may submit it for admission.

Yes, you can join Amrita International School of Law without CLAT exam. If you have a valid AILET score, you can submit it for BA LLB admission. Otherwise, you can appear for Amrita Law Admission Test (AmLAT).

Yes the application process for the Amrita International School of Law (2026-27) academic year) is open. Applications for their 5 year integrated BA LLB & BBA LLB programmes can be submitted online via their website until end June tentatively.

Both the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET and CLAT entrance exam are conducted for admission to the Law schools in India, however, the syllabus for these exams are different on many parameters and candidates should strategise differently for both the exams. Andhra Pradesh LAWCET exam has sections including Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Contract Law, Constitution, etc. and the CLAT entrance exam sections include English Language, Legal Aptitude, Mathematics, etc. Andhra Pradesh LAWCET does not have mathematics subjects, Andhra Pradesh LAWCET exam focus more on regional knowledge. Yes, Chandigarh University has the University Institute of Legal Studies which has special clubs and associations for the students of law. The most popular is the Moot Court Society (MCS) where the students can actively participate in intra and inter department and national moot court competitions and develop their research and public speaking skills. They also work in various clinical programs and the client counseling sessions. There is also a Madhyastha Centre of Excellence in ADR where the students get training in meditation and arbitration. Tuition fees for 5 year integrated BA LLB (Hons) course at Amrita International School of Law Coimbatore is INR 225000 per annum with an additional one time caution deposit of INR 20,000.
