No, one cannot add "Advocate" before their name after completing their B.A. LL.B. Programme. In India, only those who have enrolled with their respective State Bar Council and have received a Certificate of Practice (COP) are legally authorized to use the title of "Advocate" before their name. To practice law as an Advocate, one needs to enroll themselves with their State Bar Council and clear the All India Bar Examination AIBE conducted by the Bar Council of India. To be eligible for the position of a judge, you will have to hold a degree in law, either LL.B. Or LL. M. from a government or Bar-Council approved university. Being a Lawyer is important before proceeding to be a judge. Good luck.

No, In fact, you are required to enroll as an advocate with the respective State Bar Council in order to be eligible to apply for the All India Bar Examination. Good luck.
