Diploma in library science and information is not offered at U. P. Rajarshi Tandon Open University, Allahabad.

The scope, as of now, in India, is stuck only on librarian post whether it is an academic/public library. But in the rest of the world, library science is also known as information science and is a very promising course, companies like Google, AOL and Bing are opening great opportunities for them. Go ahead with LIS and apply in big MNCs.
