The minimum eligibility criterion required for the candidates is to possess a Bachelor's degree in English or relevant discipline from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 60%. Admission to MA English is done on the basis of entrance tests. However, some MA English colleges also provide direct admission based on merit. You can apply to any university in order to pursue Masters in English. You are an eligible candidate for all universities, if you have scored 60% marks at least in your graduation.

If you have great scores in the SAT/ACT, excellent grades and recommendations from teachers, extracurricular activities; then you may be offered scholarship at one of the premier institutes in US.
