To be eligible for admission to a three-year LLB (Hons) course, an aspirant must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 45% aggregate. At the time of application form filling and admission, candidates also have to present mark sheets and certificates. In addition, fulfilment of the eligibility criteria does not confirm that a student will get a seat. As of July 1st of the exam year, candidates must be no older than 30 years old for general candidates and 35 years old for candidates from Schedule Castes, Schedule Tribes or Other Backward Classes (according to University of North Bengal and Bar Council of India guidelines). There is no maximum age for students who are foreign nationals.
