For pursuing LLB, a person has two choices.
One can pursue BA LLB, 5-year degree from any national or private university. CLAT is conducted for 5 year program for national universities. One can pursue 3-year LLB after graduation from any stream.

Institutions like Symbiosis, Amity, Alliance, Christ, KIIT, BHU, Jamia Milia Islamia, etc., conduct separate tests to enrol students in the integrated law courses. You can go for these tests.
CLAT provides admission to only 16 government law colleges. Rest of the law colleges take up students through a different procedure.
There are another law exams like LSAT which provide admissions to 5-year law programs in other government and private reputed colleges. Individual universities like BHU conduct its own entrance test (BLAT) for the course. Likewise, many other colleges have their own admission procedure. It varies greatly.

There is no particular stream required, LLB stands for Bachelor of law. The admission for LLB course is based on CLAT examination. If you score good percentage in CLAT examination, then you can get admission in a reputed college.
Eligibility criteria:
1. The applicant should have completed graduation in any stream from a recognized university.
2. The applicant should have scored minimum 55% marks in graduation. The percentage relaxation applicable for the SC/ST candidates.
3. The admission for LLB course is on the basis of merit list.
