I would say that its a fair thing to go for, but please wait for the clat counselling sessions and also check out on the vacancies in the national law schools by regularly checking on their websites.
private institutions always try to get maximum admission, but please wait patiently.
your son might get through a national law school.

Amity law school, under the IPU and Swami Vivekananda College are the best ones under IP University.
Counseling of WBJEE will start from June 12 for admission in various colleges under WB.

Look, it seems a bit tough with your rank to get into one of these institutions.
But, your chances with other colleges are fairly good.

With 1000 rank, expect any colleges except for Amity and Swami Vivekananda. But, you might even get through one of these, if there are any vacancies. To know about the vacancies, you are supposed to check on their websites regularly.

The thing is placements depend on your CV mostly and also on the academics. Later, it's your work ethics that works.

Fee for BA-LLB programme is Rs. 1,32,000 per semester and there will be 2 semester every year.

You can get admission in LLB in IITKGP. You have to go through entrance exam. I would suggest you to go to this link: http://www.iitkgp.ac.in/law

Both are different fields. LLB is for LAW studies whereas MBA is for study of management of business. Both have good scope and opportunities.All depends upon your field of interest. So, choose wisely your subjects.
