Master of Laws (LLM) is a one-year full-time postgraduate programme in Law which is specialised course offered by Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Eligibility Criteria
A person who has passed one of the following examinations shall be eligible after qualifying the entrance test to join the first semester class of the LL.M. Course:-
(a) LL.B.3 years Degree/B.A.LL.B./B.Com.LL.B. 5 years degree examination of this University with minimum 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST/BC candidates); or
(b) Any equivalent examination of another University recognised by the Syndicate for this purpose.

Calcutta University is higher than that of the LL.M. program. In 2022, 95 out of 119 UG (5-year) students were placed, while the placement rate for PG (2-year) students is not officially released. However, the NIRF report 2023 includes the overall placement data for PG (2-year) courses, which is 70%.

A one-year LL.M. Post Graduation Course in Business Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and International Law is available from the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL). There will be sixty (60) seats available in total for the LL.M. course.

As of right now, the official college website has not made any information about LLM placement available. The NIRF report has information on the placements of BA LLB. In the official site of the college, the placement details for the graduating course of 2023 are still pending. Nonetheless, the institute has posted the NIRF report for 2023 on its official website. According to the NIRF report 2023, one BA LLB (Hons) student was placed in NLU Assam placements in 2021. Furthermore, the median package offered to BA LLB students during NLU Assam postings in 2021 was INR 7.63 L annually.

50% in LLB is the minimum requirement to enrol in NLU Assam's LLM programme. Candidates must have passed the LL.B. degree requirements or an equivalent test with the required scores from any accredited college or university. Applicants may also appear if they plan to take their qualifying exam in April or May of 2024.Admission to all programmes at National Law University Assam is handled online using the school's official website. Registration for the LLM programme at NLU Assam is done through CLAT for admissions. CNLU's official website is where candidates must apply for CLAT.

The official college website currently has not released any information regarding the placement of LLM. Details regarding the placements of BAs and LLBs are available in the NIRF report. The placement information for the 2023 graduating class is still pending in the official site. On its official website, the institute has, nevertheless, made available the NIRF report for 2023. At NLU Assam, there are 30 available seats for LLM. At the postgraduate level, NLU Assam provides a one-year LLM programme. Students may apply if they have a valid CLAT exam score and satisfy the minimal eligibility requirements.
