Yes, Lucknow University offers two scholarships under the Student Welfare Fund. The scholarships are the Chhatra Kalyan Scholarship and the Karmyogi Scheme. The scholarships are for financial support. Lucknow University offers a scholarship to the eligible candidates. Below are a few criteria;

  • Has passed the previous exam with a minimum of 60% aggregate
  • Students must have a minimum of 75% attendance in the previous academic year/ semester
  • Passed the previous semester with no back paper
  • The student must be enrolled in the self-finance courses or regular courses of the university
  • The total income of the student's parents must not exceed

The University offers a two-year full-time LLM programme in the field of Law. Lucknow University LLM admission is based on an entrance test. A candidate will be eligible for admission for admission to LLM course if he/she has completed the Law Graduation from a recoginsed and has secured 50% marks at graduation and for general and OBC. However, for SC/ST the eligible marks are 48%.

As per the Vidyasagar University's admission guidelines there is no entrance exam required for LLM. Admission to LLM is based on candidate's performance in the qualifying exam, i.e., pass the LLB (Graduate examination in Law) with a minimum 50% aggregate for general students and 45%  for SC/ ST/ OBC students. There is no age bar for admission in law college in West Bengal.

The cost of LLM at Vidyasagar University is around INR 50,000. The LLM programme is offered in the university campus and via its affiliation colleges as well. The fee might differ from college to college. Candidates might have to pay another one-time fee at the time of admission. The fee is sourced from various sources. Hence, its indicative.
