Hi Aswin,
Yes, it matters. But also it depends on the university how strictly it checks the backlogs and how much weightage they give. Your final scores will also be checked and that is more important. Canada is difficult, they don't accept backlogs, not upto 11. You check options in Europe. A strong SOP and good LORs are recommended.

Yes, you can definitely choose logistics or SCM as your career. Logistics and SCM are part of marketing only. You can do certificate courses in Logistics and SCM which will help you in getting jobs in this field. The certificate courses are conducted by various IIMs and other B-Schools from time to time.

There are very few colleges in India which offer MBA in operations and supply chain. Being an engineer myself who decided to pursue PGDM in operations and supply chain management from SP Jain Institute of Management and Research.
