Supply chain management involves coordinating and integrating these flows both within and among companies. It is said that the ultimate goal of any effective supply chain management system is to reduce inventory.

Annual Salary depends on college's average CTC offered. Opportunities in Logistics and Supply Chain, freight And Container Management, Barges Movements, Tender and Contract Management, are offered.

Yes surely you can do . Mathematics would have been helpful but it's not mandatory . You have done commerce and trade deals with commerce .

SCM is a very good career option because of your rich experience . You are advised to evaluate MBA in SCM by distance learning to give further boost to your career.

Your PG course is enough to get into roles into logistics. Although I recommend SAP SCM Certification from SAP where you will be well versed with logistics and have chance of lucrative offers. Goodluck.

Dear student this year it would be our first batch for MBA in Supply Chain Management.But over all we have 85% placement every year in MBA.And companies which will be coming for placement will be Jabong,Myntra,Flipkart,etc

SAP is still the largest selling ERP of the world. Majority of manufacturing companies have SAP implementation. SCM is a major module of SAP. I am of the opinion that requirement of SAP SCM professional will continue.
