Loyalist College

For admissions at Loyalist College, international applicants must provide proof of academic standing equivalent to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) (Grade 12), along with transcripts from any post-secondary education (if applicable).

The following certificates are acceptable from Indian applicants for admission:

• 10 + 2 with marks over 50%, Bachelors – less than eight backlogs

Postgraduate Program Admissions

• Require submission of proof of completed degree/diploma in a related field with transcripts
• Degree must be second class or above

Language Requirements

All the courses at Loyalist are conducted in English, therefore for applicants to be successful in a program, skills such as communication, listening comprehension, and reading and writing are expected to be at a level sufficient to meet the demands of post-secondary studies. All applicants whose first language is not English, or whose previous education was in another language, will be expected to provide an English proficiency assessment for admissions approval.

Loyalist offers residential space for 476 students at its five suite-style residence buildings. Loyalist also provides 104 spots at its four fully furnished townhouse buildings.

Housing Costs:

Shared Houses/Apartments
The residence at Loyalist costs approximately CAD 425 per room/per month. Payment of first and last month is required at the time of signing a contract for a shared house or apartment.

Food Expenses
Students will have to pay approximately CAD 200 – 300 CAD per month for food. Given the location of the residence, students can always enjoy international food at local supermarkets.

Belleville Transit
Loyalist is connected to the city of Belleville by two dedicated bus routes operated by Belleville Transit (BT). Students can catch a bus right outside the college and residence.
