LPU - Lovely Professional University

The entrance exam of Lovely Professional University (LPU), known as LPU NEST (National Entrance and Scholarship Test), is conducted in both online remote proctored mode and test centre-based mode.

You can choose:

1. Online (Remote Proctored Mode):
   You can take the exam from home on your laptop/desktop with internet access. It is monitored online through proctoring software.

2. Test Centre-Based Mode:
   You can appear for the exam offline at designated LPU test centres.

LLM students at LPU Law programs establishes an employment record which shows that their peak salary reaches ₹23.70 LPA while their top 10% bracket attains an average salary of ₹9.77 LPA. The previous data from law programs demonstrated that Khaitan & Co. had offered salaries which reached a maximum of ₹13 LPA.

LPU's Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET) for sports/PE programs includes: 50m sprint, standing broad jump, overhead medicine ball throw (3kg men/2kg women), and 1000m run/walk. You need to bring your sports equipment together with your medical fitness certificate for the test.

The student must achieve a 60% overall score in Class 12 with Physics Mathematics and English* subjects and their equivalent subjects. The applicant must pass either the LPUNEST or JEE Main or CUET examinations. The Biotech programs permit students to choose between Biology and Biotech as their mandatory subject instead of Chemistry. The programme has no restrictions regarding applicant age.

LPUPET testing does not use a specific time frame for conducting its practical fitness assessment which includes 50m sprints and broad jumps and medicine ball throws and 1000m run/walk tests because candidates need to complete the tests within a 30 to 60 minute period to meet established requirements.

LPU requires minimum 60% aggregate in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry/Maths/Biology, and English for B.Tech programs; other UG courses need 50-60% overall, with Maths compulsory where specified like engineering. LPUNEST scores apply.
