Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or CAT or MAT or XAT or NMAT or CMAT and Interview or Completed Company Secretary CS from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Chartered Accountancy CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI). Hi Akash, LPU NEST is an entrance test conducted by LPU for admission in various programmes. It aims to check how far the concepts from the previous qualification are clear. It's tough but those who have studied honestly will be able to make it. Don't you worry, the syllabus of LPU NEST is all that you have studied in your previous qualification. In addition to it, there are questions of reasoning, verbal ability, analytical ability are also there. LPU NEST is a proctored exam and questions are asked in the form of MCQs. The result is displayed on the dashboard of the student after 24 hrs. One gets two chances of attempting LPU NEST. The best of the two results will be applicable for scholarship. One has to register oneself with the university and pay online for taking LPU NEST. Application form will be in a format that can be processed by Optical Mark Reader (OMR). One can get a LPU NEST kit that consists of a University Information Brochure containing details of Infrastructure, Global Character, Placements, Academics, Student services, Campus life etc. LPU NEST Booklet comprising details of Programmes applicable, Eligibility, Fee and Scholarship, Schedule of Test, Question Paper Pattern, Test Cities etc. Applicants may obtain LPU NEST Kit from University Campus or admission office or any other prescribed place by paying cash. Cost of Application form and Printed LPU NEST Kit 1500 (for Boys) and 1000 (for Girls). One can take the Online Remotely Proctored LPU NEST exam from Home. One can get the test altered and can avail a second chance as well. The best out of the two results will be considered for scholarships. One can go to the admission offices physically and fill the forms manually as well. The minimum score is decided by the University and it depends upon various factors. The factors on which the cut off will depend on including the number of candidates, the number of vacant seats, marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test cut off of last year. Usually cut off varies from 30%-40%. .

In India there are not many universities that offer international placements, as a engineer myself, I can suggest LPU, based on their placement chart, they have managed to offer placements in top MNCs, many of their student are working with google, yahoo, microsoft etc. There are some facts that you would also like about the School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering in LPU. Placements: LPU has a good placement record for EEE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are BOSCH, Microsoft, Code Nation, Adobe, etc. In which students of EEE are placed. The highest package offered for the EEE programme at LPU is 31 LPA and the average package is 4.8 LPA. Dear Aspirant, LPU offers various programmes in B.Sc. Such as IT, Agriculture, CS Physics Chemistry Maths Zoology, etc. As far as I know, every programme has different eligibility criteria to get admission.
