To pursue MA Archaeology course you should have completed graduation in any field. Some colleges may give preference to candidates who have completed BA Archaeology, BA History or related courses. Make sure that you have scored at least 50 aggregate marks in graduation. Your marks in previous academic qualifications such as Class 10 and Class 12 may also be considered by some colleges for shorlisting purpose. Also ensure that you have studied from an institute that is recognised by UGC

If you are interested in the field of Archaeology and wish to pursue a career in this field then you can pursue MA Archaeology course. This course may involve field work. So if you and are ready for field related jobs then you can pursue this course. In some jobs related to this field professionals are expected to use technical tools and equipment. So you should be a person who is interested in history and also have a scientific temperament.

MA Archaeology is a postgraduate level course that you can pursue after graduation in Archaeology or any other subject. Just like any other master's level course the duration of MA Archaeology course is 2 years. The curriculum is divided into 4 semesters. The course work involves theoritical subjects, fieldwork and project. There are limited niche jobs related to this field of study and are mostly available in the government sector. To pursue these jobs one has to qualify for competitive exams. You can apply for private jobs in the positions where all graduates can apply for.

MA History and Archaeology, also known as Master of Arts in History and Archaeology, is a postgraduate History degree programme. It is the study of recently documented times through material culture and literature. Students who have done their Bachelor of Arts degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university can apply for this course. They also need to have a minimum of 50% aggregate in their Bachelor's degree.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for Masters of Arts in Archaeology. The basic eligibility to pursue Masters of Arts in Archaeology is that the student should be a graduate in any stream with the required percentage of marks (varies from college to college) from any recognised university.

BHU offers several courses like Acharya, MA, MPA, MBA, M.Sc, M.Li.Sc, MCA and M.Tech in various specializations at the PG level. The duration for each of the courses is two years. I'm sorry, but Indraprastha University (IPU) does not offer an M.A. in Archaeology and Heritage Management program. Therefore, there is no cutoff information available for the same.
