Hi Shilpa, M.A. History is a postgraduate course which is offered for a duration of 2 years. The basic eligibility for this course is that the student should have completed their graduation. Graduation in any course is allowed but a degree in Arts or History is preferred.

Yes, you are eligible for UGC NET, if you are MA History. After qualifying NET, you can try for a job as a lecturer in colleges as well.

JNU as an Institution is the most Democratic place in India. It allows you to write your answers in either languages (I. e Hindi and English). Some people might object that if it is that much democratic, why don't it allows to write Answers in all 22 languages mentioned in Schedule 8 of Indian constitution. The reason is that Evaluation process involves The faculty members of JNU only. Hi,
For law, class 12th is a requirement, but check the eligibility of DU once for 3-year law and other universities like BHU as for them graduation is more important. You can definitely go for a Bachelor of Arts after the Science stream in senior secondary. You have the full authority to take the subject which kindles the interest in you. Political Science, history, economics or anything.
