Master of Arts in Psychology is a postgraduate Psychology course. Psychology includes a comprehensive and thorough study of Psychology as a discipline at an advanced level. M.A. (Psychology) degree course covers the study of mind processes, motives, reactions, feelings, conflict resolution, crisis management, groupthink, motivation and nature of the mind. It covers subjects and topics like General Psychology, Social Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Health Psychology, Industrial Psychology, etc. In other words, M.A. (Psychology) degree course is a study involving the scientific study of mental functions and behaviour. The duration of M.A. in Psychology course is two years and course is divided into four semesters.

Industrial psychology is a branch of psychology that contributes to an organisation's success by improving the performance and well being of its employees.
It has expanded to include topics like efficiency, productivity, training, and assessment. It should not be confused with organizational psychology, where there is more focus on motivation, leadership, teams, culture and organizational development.
Industrial psychologists often work in an HR department, though many others work for large consultant firms, pursue careers as independent consultants or work in psychology departments and business schools. In academic and applied settings they may do both consulting and research
