After completing an MA in Sociology, pursuing a PhD is a logical step if you're interested in advanced research, academia, or specialized professional roles. Here’s a detailed breakdown:

1. Eligibility: MA in Sociology or related fields with at least 55-60% marks.You may need to clear exams like UGC-NET, JRF, or university-specific tests.

 2. Duration: A PhD typically takes 3 to 6 years.

 3. Research Areas: Gender Studies, Social Inequality, Urban/Rural Sociology, Political Sociology, etc 

4. Coursework: Initial coursework followed by a research thesis.

5. Career Opportunities: Roles in academia, research, NGOs, public policy, and social consulting.

There are two parts to the CPGET syllabus for MA in Theatre Arts. The first part of the syllabus will make for 40 marks of the test while the rest of the questions will be asked from the second part. The topics of both parts are provided below - 

Part A (40 marks) - World Theatre – History and Development of World Theatre (Greek, Britain, German, France, Japan, Russian, Poland, American), Sanskrit Theatre – The History of Sanskrit Theatre, Major Playwrights and their contributions. 

Part B (60 marks) - Folk Theatre Forms of Andhra Pradesh – Major and Marginal folk forms of AP with special reference to Veedhi Natakam, Burra Katha, Oggu Katha and Puppetry, Telugu Theatre: History and development of Telugu Theatre (1860 to up to date) – Major Playwrights, Plays, Associations, Actors, Directors and their contribution, Origin of Telugu Theatre, Padya Natakam (Musical Theatre), Modern Telugu Theatre and Modern Street Theatre, Indian Theatre. 

Preparing for entrance tests for an MA in mass communication, specifically advertising and corporate communication, at Christ University in Bangalore necessitates a planned approach. Here are some common guidelines that will help you prepare efficiently.
