Candidates seeking admission in MA Telugu, History, Culture & Tourism, Telugu, Jyothisham and Communication & Journalism have to pass PSTUCET conducted by the university. For all other MA specialisations, PSTU Hyderabad considers the merit of the candidates in the last qualifying exam for admission.

Besides, aspirants must also pass PSTUCET for admission to MA specialisations accepting the score. The tuition fee for MA at Osmania University and other CPGET participating institutes will vary from discipline to discipline and institute to institiute. For MA in Journalism and Mass Communication the tuition fee can be upto INR 35,000 a year. For MA in other disciplines like English, History, etc., the tuition fee can be anywhere between INR 15,000 to INR 25,000 per year.

In order to appear for CPGET for an MA in Arabic, a candidate must have the following educational qualifications -
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree with Arabic as a subject OR
