To be eligible for an MA in Folklore Studies at Gauhati University, you need a Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com.) with a major or general course in any language/literature discipline or social sciences, and a minimum of 50% marks in your degree course. Graduates with Folklore as a major/general subject will be given preference.

Indira Gandhi University, Rewari offers various Postgraduate programmes including MA in various disciplines. The duration for this course is two years. The eligibility criteria for IGU Rewari MA admission is Graduation in any discipline from any recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 45%. Admission to MA in IGU are completely based on merit scores obtained by the students in graduation. Hence, the university does not accept application in absence of final results of the qualifying degree.
