The eligibility criteria for the M.A. at SNDT college Pune are:-

• M.A. I Year

Graduate in any discipline from any faculty of this university or any other recognised university as equivalent thereto.

A candidate for being eligible for admission to M.A. English will have topass English proficiency test.

• M.A. II Year

Students from other University cannot take direct admission in II year of Master’s programme.

For a student from this University - should have cleared first year in the same subject or has passed with admissible ATKT.

The admission to the MA course of Central University of Himachal Pradesh relies on the CUET PG test, which is annually conducted by NTA. Shivaji College admission procedure to the PG course is based on both merit and entrance - DUET. Merit-based admissions are offered only to DU graduates. In Shivaji College PG admissions 50% of seats are filled by the entrance exam and the other 50% of seats are based on the merit of the qualifying exam.

Earlier for PG admissions, Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) used to be accepted, but from 2023 onwards, PG admissions will only be based on the CUET PG exam.

Once the CUET results are declared, eligible candidates need to register themselves on Delhi University’s admission portal - admission.uod.ac.in for all UG and PG course admissions.  The final Selection for PG courses will be based on the merit list released for both merit and entrance-based admissions.

MA is a two-year course divided into four semesters. The school offers MA in three specialisations, namely  English Language & Literature, Visual Media & Communication and Journalism & Mass Communication.

The total fee of MA ranges between INR 1.52 Lacs and INR 2.32 lakh. The fee, includes a caution deposit of INR 3,000. Candidates are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Aspirants will also need to pay a registration fee to apply for admission.

The tuition fee for a two-year MA course at Amrita DMC Coimbatore is INR 2.24 lakh. This fee is taken from unofficial sources and hence, is indicative. For admission to MA at Amrita DMC Coimbatore, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Candidates who pass a UG degree with 50% aggregate in any discipline from a recognised university are eligible to apply for this course. Admission to this course is entrance-based. The college accepts a valid score of CAP Test, which is conducted by Amrita School of Communication (ASCOM), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, followed by a Personal Interview (PI) test.
