For M.A. + B.Ed. combined admission, having only 44% in graduation and 72% in M.A. is sometimes restricted as many colleges demand 50% marks in graduation.

Some private institutes, such as Lovely Professional University or Amity University, may consider the M.A. marks (55-60% and above) or entrance test scores, neglecting the lower UG score. Colleges in the region, such as Chaudhary Devi Lal University or IGNOU (with distance mode), offer B.Ed. with relaxed criteria (45% to 50% in PG).

Direct M.A. entry is not a problem for 72%.

The eligibility for M.A. Economics at KSRDPRU, Gadag is a bachelor's degree from a recognised university with Economics as a major or minor subject. An aggregate of 50% is normally specified, although there may be a relaxation of 5% for reserved categories such as SC/ST, which puts the figure at 45%.

IGNOU's online MA degree is a two-year programme. It cannot be completed in a year, but can be extended up to five years.

Yes, you can pursue an online MA in various specialisations, apart from the common ones, including English, Economics, Sociology, and Pol. Science. International institutions such as Arizona State University offer MA courses online in unique subjects like World War II Studies. Even when you are considering an online MA degree in India, you can check O.P Jindal Global University's new programme on India Studies.

The Deccan college conducts Common Entrance Test (CET) for the applicants who want to take admission in MA in Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archeology.

The whole admission procedure is followed by CET and Interview.

Only students scoring minimum 50% marks in Common Entrance Test (CET) are eligible for interview.

However, in terms of affordability, K J Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce is more affordable since the tuition fee to pursue MA at K J Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce is INR 11,000, and the tuition fee to pursue MA at S K Somaiya Degree College of Arts, Science, and Commerce is INR 2.46 lakh.
