The total number of seats as per 2020-21 update is 386 in the MA English course of Delhi University. The total seats in through Entrance-based admissions in MA English are : 193 only. The total seats through Merit-based admissions in MA English are :193 only.
Admission Process:
1.Register and Apply
Interested candidates can apply online with required information.
There are 2 modes of admission - Merit or Direct and Entrance exam.
Candidates who have not graduated from University of Delhi, have to apply through Entrance mode.
Candidates who have graduated from University of Delhi can choose to apply through Merit mode or Merit + Entrance mode or Entrance only mode (must have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% in graduation to apply through Merit mode or Merit + Entrance mode).
2.Merit Screening
Admission is based on the marks obtained in the entrance test or marks obtained in graduation depending on the mode of admission.

With a desire to provide in-depth knowledge of various subjects, M.A. and M.Sc. Courses in 17 disciplines are offered by TMV. The University conducts a entrance test for admission to the above mentioned courses. The test is of 50 marks with MCQs.
Other methods:
For specific courses like M.A. LL.B. and many more, candidates need to clear the respective entrance exams, either national or state-level. Documentation:
Apart from clearing the cut-off, the candidate should also have proper documents of all education levels completed. The admission cell verifies, and once the documentation is done, only then is the candidate asked to pay the term fees for their course.
