Please check for your eligibility to appear for the NET exam from the criteria mentioned below. Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in their Masters degree exams (in streams such as Humanities, Social Science, Electronic Science, Computer Science & Applications, etc. ). From a UGC recognised college/ university fulfill UGC NET 2018 eligibility criteria. It may be noted minimum percentage required to meet UGC NET eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD categories is 50%. Hi Priyanka, You are not eligible to appear in UGC NET Eam 2018. The UGC NET Exam is conducted by CBSE on the behalf of UGC for the Assistant professor and junior research fellowship award. The eligibility to apply for the exam is post graduation degree with 55% marks from recognised university. However the last year candidates can also apply for the UGC NET Exam. The maximum age limit for the JRF is 30 years while there is no age limit for the assistant professor posts. In order to crack a competitive entrance exam, you should follow the below tips:
1. First of all, make a time table with both short-term and long-term goals that would help you in timely preparation for the exam. A time table makes you more disciplined and helps you to get rid of haphazardness.
2. Know your syllabus well and divide them into 2 categories: the ones that seem easy and the ones that need your attention. Pick and revise easy subjects thoroughly. For the difficult ones, devote separate attention and work on them until they get on your tips. Time management will play an important role here.
3. Refer to previous year
