Admission to the MD in Dermatology at Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Hyderabad, is done based on the scores obtained in the NEET PG exam. In 2024, the last round cutoff rank for the exam was around 8728 for the students belonging to the general category. Please note that the cutoff varies for the students belonging to other categories.

MD or doctorate of medicine in dermatology is a three year postgraduate course that deals with the branch of medicine related to skin and hair. You can apply for MD in dermatology after completing MBBS with atleast 50% in aggregate.

PG Diploma in dermatology it is a two year postgraduate Diploma course that deals with the various common skin and cosmetic dermatological diseases. The main objective is to train students to become profesionals and experts  to medical emergencies of the skin .

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For NEET PG Round 1 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 3573 and closing rank was 3573 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to MD in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy in Medical College is based on the scores obtained in the NEET PG entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
