No, that's not possible. Dermatology is a medical branch, and it requires you have PCB subjects in Class 12, an MBBS degree, followed by an MD or DNB in Dermatology.

Though they seem similar, both are completely different paths.

There's no comparison to be honest.

Dermatology is a medical field where you treat patients with skin, hair, and nail problems. On the other hand, Cosmetology is where you provide salon services to enhance the appearance of your consumer.

Dermatologists treat acne, hair loss, or infections. Cosmetologists work on beauty improvements.

After BHMS, you can't take a central authority-diagnosed Diploma in dermatology.

Such guides like DDVL are best for MBBS college students.

Some non-public institutes provide diplomas after BHMS, but they're not valid in all states.

No, an MS Dermatology does not qualify for an MCh in Plastic Surgery. The eligibility route is MS or DNB in General Surgery.
Although non-surgical cosmetic treatments can be performed by dermatologists. The Plastic surgery involves more complicated surgical interventions that require a different postgraduate training background.
