The PG MD medicine fee per annum in Amrita Medical College in Kochi is INR 27,00,000 (Rs. Twenty-Seven Lacs only). This fee is for the regular non-scholarship Indian students. The eligibility criteria is simple that one should have the MBBS degree of college which is certified by the Indian government and has given the NEET PG exam for the md/MS branches and should have a good marks to get mamc as a college which is dream of many and persued by some and there 50% seats reserved for the students who has done their MBBS from this college only.

In India, the eligibility criteria to pursue this course are both merit and entrance based. The popular exams to follow MD Psychiatry are NEET PG and GATE. To study MD Psychiatry abroad, students must clear the MCAT exam with an average score of 511 or more. Along with this an IELTS score of 7.0 with no less than 6.0 or TOEFL IBT with 100 minimum 20 in Speaking and 19 in all other elements is required.

Both are postgraduation degrees with their own specializations. Their are differences between them, such as MS is a PG Degree in general surgery where as MD is a PG degree in general medicine. Both can be pursued after MBBS.
